File Sharing and printer sharing

can anyone give me soem advice for a real novice for
information on file and printer sharing so I can set my
router up-
Have tried but to no avail

Try posting on the newsgroup for the version of Windows you are running.
This newsgroup is for the broadband networking hardware made by
Microsoft & not networking in general.
