Windows XP has a "Computer Browser" service that you can turn on or
off. The equivalent in Windows 98se is to enable or disable "Browse
Master". To make that setting, go to Control Panel | Network and
double click "File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks" in the
list of network components.
