File shareing between PPC and Desktop

I have a wireless network at home with two desktop PC's network (1 wired and
1 wireless.)
I also have a Acer n30 PDA with Pocket Windows 2003. I have since purchased
a wireless B Safecom network adaptor for the PDA and have managed to let it
gain access to the network and share the internet connection. But how do I
go about letting it access shared folders on the desktop PC's?

Also the PDA seems to have some incompatibilities with the Safecom wireless
card - because it won't turn on with the card plugged into the SD slot and
only seems to turn back on if you removed the card before shutdown and
insert it again after turning it on. I have the latest drivers from the
manufacturers.

The PDA would have to have NetBIOS device recognition, I should think. It
would have to make a TCP/IP connection to the shares via ports 137-139. I
don't have such a device, so I can't offer specific details about doing it.

It's easy to access shares on the PCs.
If you have a PC with computername = server and have networked shared the
All Users Documents (share name = Documents).
On the PPC fire up File Explorer. At the bottom of the screen three icons,
the far right one is a server with a hand under it. Click the icon and it
starts an Open box prompting you with \\
Enter your PC network share i.e.
\\server\documents

Thats all.
