File Services for Macintosh

We've run into 2 problems with File Services for Macintosh when using Apple
File Protocol for connecting to a Windows 2003 file server. The 2 issues
are a limit on file name lenght, specicifally limited to 32 characters and
file sizes over 2 gb.

Is this a known issue and is there a patch or fix for it from MS? I have
been unable to find anything in the KB regarding theses issues.

Also, using SMB is not a viable option, since that has its own issues.

TIA
