File Explorer - Network Path

Dell AXIM with 802.11b Network Card

I've got a small home network, recently I had my handheld successfully
sharing files from my two desktop computers and sharing internet
connections.

Owing to a possible problem with my WiFi driver I reloaded the network
card driver and now I cannot connect to my desktop computers for file
sharing.

I can share an internet connection and using the Dell Client it shows
a successful PING to my desktop but if I try to connect to
\\192.168.0.1 (as I did before) via File Explorer I get 'The Network
Path was not found'.

Any ideas what the problem might be - I can't get ActivSync to work
either at the moment.
