File copying problem from windows 2000 server to win98
client. The file size is more than 2.67GB residing on
2000server NTFS partition. While copying the file from
win2000 server to Windows98 client (from win98 client
terminal) it is not possible and error massege coming, the
massege is "unable to copy ,parameter is incorrect".
Whereas the same thing is possible when invoked from
console of 2000server.

Protol used is TCP/IP With manual IP setting.

Is there any parameter which is creating the above problem?

Although the maximum file size allowed on a Windows 98 computer is 4gb, many
programs and utilities will balk at any file larger than 2gb in size. I
suspect you've found such a problem.

Your file might be too large for Windows 98 to handle properly,
depending on the tool you use to copy the file. Try keeping it
below 2 GBytes. See also
