On a simple Client-Server network. Direct to the server via a non-managed
switch.

C:\Users\Valued Customer>ping 10.120.20.151
{I start pinging the server.}
Reply from 10.120.20.151: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
Reply from 10.120.20.151: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
{I turn off the server.}
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
{Then this comes up??!?!?!??! What gives with 119???!?!?}
Reply from 10.120.20.119: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 10.120.20.119: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 10.120.20.119: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 10.120.20.119: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 10.120.20.119: Destination host unreachable.

Hello Aaron,

Normally this is the Default gateway address in the network, a router port.

Well,..... only you would know that.
What machine is 10.120.20.119? The one you are pinging from? The Default
Gateway?
