Hello,

I am trying to setup fetchmail so that it leaves my mail on the remote
mail server. I'm using SLES 9 SP1.

I have made the following changes to the fetmailrc file:
# Edit carefully, see
/usr/share/doc/packages/yast2-*mail/fetchmailrc.txt
poll "mail.eclipse.co.uk" protocol POP3 : user "user" there with
password "password" is "david" here keep;

The 'keep' is the command i have added.

When i try to start the ftchmail daemon i get the following error:
Starting fetchmail Both fetchall and keep on in daemon mode is a
mistake!

As you can see in my fetmailrc file i only fo a 'keep' not a
'fetchall'.

Any idea what should i do next?

Thanks

Actually i managed to get it working by modifying the
/etc/init/d/fetchmail script

NOw I have a 2nd pbm - i'm trying to use spamassassin to scan my email
and put into a specific malbox the spams. I' using the 'mail' commad to
read my email and I have updated the /etc/procmailrc with following:

:0fw
|/usr/bin/spamc -u david

:0
* ^X-Spam-Status: Yes
/home/david/spammails

The Spam flag is set correctly however my spams still end up in my
system mail box and not my spam mail box.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks
