| The phrase "has a hard time" is a really poor description of the
| problem. Does it work at all? Do you get errors? What errors?

The IRIX servers reject the request to serve the exported directories to the
FC 3 workstation, with a message 'Permission denied by server'. It could mount
from AIX 5.2 and Linux 2.4 based systems without a problem.
The 'rpcinfo -p HOST' was showing all RPC services in place for all hosts,
including the IRIX ones. Directories are exported and mounted fine accross all
types of systems (IRIX 6.5.2x, Solaris 10, AIX 5.2, Linux 2.4) except TO the
FC3.
It is a matter of someone using IRIX having encountered this specific issue.
