FC4 64-bits: dynamic IP hard-to be removed

This HP machine with samba enabled server take a dynamic address o
the lan. I use fixed IP to the eth0 but the dynamic IP still work
Stop/restart the interface but the dynamic IP is persistent. I can'
stop the Windows 2000 DHCP server of the lan
For months the samba server has been working, the pcs map to the nam
of the server -not the IP- but I want to know-to force the eth0 tak
the IP I want
