faxrunqd problem

I have a redhat 7.2 system and I just started using the fax software on
it. I'm using faxrunqd and sending faxes using faxspool. The modem
that I'm using is a MultiTech modem.

The problem I'm having is that 8 out of 10 times when I send a fax, the
fax is successfully sent but the log shows that it failed and faxrunqd
sends it 3 times. The customer actually receives the fax 3 times.

I have searched the groups and read the man pages and cannot find
anything to alleviate this problem. Has anyone out there had this
problem before and been able to resolve it? If so, would you mind
sharing your experience?
