fatal exception at 0028:FF02BA58

I am a school technology coordinator and have a teacher
who is using Compaq c500 machines (Win98 and 98SE) that
regularly gets the subject message (fatal exception at
0028:FF02BA58). Can anyone give me an idea where this
might be coming from and/or how to fix it? TIA!
