Half duplex means that each PC can send or receive , but not both.
The total bandwidth for traffic in both directions is therefore 100MBPS
Full duplex allows sending and receiving simultaneously so you have a total
bandwidth of 200MBPS. You still won't get more than 100 in either direction
though.

100 full duplex is plenty fast enough for that.
If you wanted any faster then you would have to step up to Gigabit ethernet.
