Assuming I have set up an OC48 link between 2 data centers, how much data
can I push between the 2 ? Does someone have an OC48 link between 2 data
centers and can share the throughput they see when moving files across.. How
much GB/sec can I transfer ? I heard it was tied to TCP throughput and no
matter how big the pipe is, it depends on some block size and latency and I
just did not follow that.

Can someone throw more light on how fast can I move data and for simplicity
lets take a file of say 200GB in size? Can you tell me how fast it will move
across the OC48 link assuming nothing else is going on across the pipe ? If
its slow, then how can I convert it to be pushed faster ?

An OC-48 is 2.45Gbps.
