Hi.

Could somebody explain to me what is going in on Facebook when
I subscribe to a network, say, "MIT". If it is my default network,
next time I log on the url says "http://mit.facebook.com". This looks
like a child domain to me. Is there is a new domain on facebook for
each new network? This doesn't feel right to me. Anybody care to shed
some light on what is going on here?

Thanks.

I am not sure your problem is linked with Windows Servers and networking...

OK, thanks. well, i figured this tied into the concept of domains,
trusts, child domains, etc. I know that facebook is php - based... and
very possibly linux and apache. bit, i thought the concepts were
similar.

If I am wrong, where should this post be?

Thanks.
