Has anybody *ever* actually managed to get through to them on the phone?

I've never tried but they did phone me on Tues tio check my connection
was working.
I'd emailed them on Sunday evening about the 12 hour outage.
However, he couldn't explain why I'd been disconnected for 12 hours
when other ISPs were only broken for 1 hour.
Bt at least he phoned!

Blimey! So they do respond to e-mails!

I pay my monthly fee with my credit card which was recently ripped off by
some scrote who used it to empty my bank account! Obviously they'll need my
new card number so I tried calling them several times in the last 2 weeks,
but all I get is "our operators are busy", etc.

I sent them an e-mail and received my "automatically generated ticket".

I then replied to this e-mail, with the relevant information in the subject
line, and explained the situation and asked them to call me at work so I can
give them the new card number.

The thing that really p**ses me off is the fact that as soon as they try to
take payment using the old number, they'll be in touch with me faster than a
greyhound with it's arse on fire! Yet when I try to get in touch with them,
*wanting to give them my money* the buggers don't respond!

I'm dreading the wait when I ask for a MAC at the end of my 12 month
contract!

Might be worth trying them again.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were swamped by last weekend
and may have missed your email.

Have you looked on the message boards on adslguide.org.uk?
Try looking/posting under e7even - someone might be able to suggest
something.

Finally got through after 20 minutes this morning, but I'm still not sure
that the problem is sorted.

And I finally get a response to my e-mails several hours after the problem
is "sorted"!
