extension problem

hi
recently put in a phone extension in my house as i want to use my laptop in
another room , used one of these kits from b&q , problem is , phone works
fine but connection problems and slow games play on laptop any ideas
/suggestions as to what it could be , it is about 20 meters away from the
main connection into the house .

Hard to tell without knowing the equipment specifically. This newsgroup
supports Microsoft Broadband Networking hardware and software. If you
aren't running that equipment, you may want to check in the
microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web newsgroup where general networking is
supported. Make sure to specify which equipment you're running.
