Hi,

I have a problem in that i cant get a line into a place i want to set
up access. I have a 512K line coming into a building that is about
500m from where I want to set up an office with a reliable
connection. Currently on the end of this line there is a wireless
router.

Can you reccomend to me a way in which i can extend the range using an
outdoor / outdoor antenna system ? Security is not really a
consideration, the only thing is I would not like to have everybody
and his brother use the connection and suck up my bandwith.

Thanks a lot. I am based in Spain, Europe.

David

I'm experimenting with the same idea (Tarragona, Spain). Initial experients
with home made antennas were not too promising. Take a look at the Cisco
Aironet gear which can go up to about 15km.
Here's some links from my browsing which will, at least, give you some
ideas.

I've got to choose decnt antennas and try again.
Let us know how you get on.
