Extending BT Business Hub

The standard BT Business HUb has just 4 fixed ethernet ports

BT say that if I want more fixed connections they could supply and
configure a 2nd Hub However by simply connecting multi port switch to
the hub and taking PC's from there as well I have more connection
options

Can I presume that this is OK provided I dont overload the traffic too
much

Are there any issues around having say 6 PC's and a printer on a
network like this

Not particularly. Try not to cascade switches, as they add propagation
delay. (i.e. if you need a second switch, put that directly into the BT
Hub rather than into your first switch.)

what hardware would be recommended to do this?
it is exactly what I am intending to do with our business hub so we can get
2 more laptops on the connection-cannot use wifi as we are in a very old
stone building and the signal is too weak
