Hi,
There is no option for specifiying the source address in standard ping
command.
I am looking for a command line ping tool which lets me specify the source
address in windows!

thanks
Saeed

When you ping something you send a request from the machine you are on to
the destination machine. This is how ping works. What are you trying to do
when you mean "specify source".

I am not aware of any tools that do this for ipv4. The ipv6 versions
(such as ping6 in XP) have it as an option to ensure that you send from the
correct interface.

Sounds like you're trying to spoof the source. There are stealth tools that
have this capability. Ping uses ICMP and the source is taken from the
machione's stack that you are pinhing from. To alter that would need a
specific tool, which I would rather not mention here because they are
usually used for the wrong purpose.
