Um, yes that url pretty well states what I originally did : mprexe.exe
is for handling multiple protocols/adapters.

Not a virus: the OS is a couple days old fresh install and the file
compare is the same as the installation CD, and AVG says "OK".

Any other ideas ? ... do you have it running on your machine as a hidden
process (if you only have 1 protocol/adapter that is)
