The people behind suprnova.org have now released the public beta version of
Exeem!

"eXeemT is a brand new Peer-To-Peer program, which is based on the
BitTorrent idea. eXeemT eliminates the need for trackers as nodes in the
program will be taking their role. eXeemT also features easy publication of
files to the network as well as a rating and comments system. eXeemT
contains NO SPYWARE. eXeemT is free and is ad-supported. eXeemT is currently
still in its beta testing phase, which means that the network might not be
completely stable yet. You are still very welcome to give eXeemT a try and
see how it is different from other Peer-To-Peer programs."

Beware - when scanned with Spybot full version of Exeem reportedly
contains the 'cydoor' spyware. There is a 'lite' version floating
around @ http://www.exlite.tk

Be careful with Exeem. There are hacked versions of Exeem Lite
containing adware/spyware.

In article <(E-Mail Removed) .com>,

ehhhh.... the *official* version contains spyware/adware, never mind
hacked versions.

It all seems a bit iffy, what version to get? The official one
proclaims it has no spyware. Looking up what cydoor does, I believe
this - it's an adware launcher, but has no capability to spy on you.
Exlite is supposed to be the kazaalite equivelant, but what reason have
yo to trust the creators of it? I think both are as untrustworthy as
each other, but since I know what's in Exeem, I'm going with it. Also,
it will be updated more rapidly.

N.B. I've yet to have an advert pop up with exeem. Possibly it won't
start in full advertisment mode until it reaches version 1.0?

This is a blatant BitComet rip-off, as is the site.
Compare www.bitcomet.com
