exception in vredir

hi,

recently a customer of ours experiences this error while
making a dcom connection: fatal exception 0e at ... in
vredir.vxd.

from knowledge base articles 271754 and 278456 i believe
it has something to do with tha fact that a novell
connection is also present.

can someone tell me how i can get the required service
pack or hot fix ?
