Event id 12061

We have problems connecting to a 2003 server with our mac
clients via afp protocol.The clients are authenticated,
but immediately they recive an error message "An
AppleShare system error occured".
On the server (win 2003) in the eventviewer we recive
event id 12061 on source MACSRV.
If we connect via SMB it works fine.
We ran Chkdsk.exe with the /f and /r command-line
switches on the partition
that contains the SFM share as suggested in earlier
discussions, but it didnt solve the problem.
We recive the same error message when we create a new
share.In the beginning it worked fine, but after creating
500 homeshares we started to recive the errors.
