Event 8021 BROWSER

I am getting this error message on a handfull of servers. We have A
primary and back up domain set up. The error message refers to the
Primary domain. This warning occurs everyday. Can anyone help me out
with this one????

basically, you may have another computer announce itself as master browser. you may want to use browstat.exe to find it.

Hey Robert thank you for replying. None of my pc's have Browstat.exe
installed; I am getting an error when i tried to open it from RUN (one
or more components are missing). How can i get browstat.exe on my pc??
It does not appear to be a download from the internet?

Thank you for the download. I am still unable to run the application
though. When i type browstat.exe in RUN i am still getting that same
error as before. "one
or more components are missing" When i click on the browstat icon that
i downloaded, a screen quickly flickers. Is there another component
that i must have for browstat to work??

Open a command prompt window and run browstat from there.

If you think the download was corrupt, browstat is included in the
support tools in W2k/W2k3 server.

I installed the utility tools, and BROWSTA.EXE is now on my machine.
Below are the results from when I ran Browstat.exe STATUS. XXX_SQLSVR
is the server that browstat.exe was ran on. Can someone please
identify what is going on here??? thanks!!

The first bit indicates that this server is multihomed (ie it has two
interfaces with Netbt active). One segment has no other machines showing
(interface 48d1 etc.) This server is the master browser for the other
segment (interface A776 etc. This is obviously your LAN segment).

Do you know what device {48D1EE07-A824-4680-B208-CEC5C1570E81}is? If it
is a NIC, disable Netbios over TCP/IP on it. If it is not a NIC, is this a
remote access server?

The rest of it is straight forward. There are 40 machines in the browse
list, and there are two backup browse masters (DLSQL01 and DC02).
