Dear all,

I want to implement"Ethernet over USB" on a printer.Do I have to
follow the Communiction Device class for implementing ethernet over
usb.In linux there is a driver CDCEther.Does this driver implements
Ethernet over usb protocol. Can I use this driver in the device side
also ie in the printer.

In order to develop ethernet over usb is it necessary to have a
kernel mode driver or can I implement the protocol using a user level
daemon?Is
there any open source code implementation available for device side?

Can anyone please help me.I'm really stuck with the doubt.

Thanks in advance

Regards
Preethi
