Errors/problems after setting up my home network

I just added my Compaq Presario 5190 to my home network
(2 computers) and everything seems to work okay but I
have the following 3 issues when booting the computer.

1. A screen called "Enter Network Password" comes up. I
don't use a pass word and would like the screen not to
come up.

2. An error screen called "Runonce" comes up and
says "This program has performed an illegal operation and
will be shut down ...". How do I stop that?

3. A screen dos looking screen comes up called "cyclond".
This is normal but was closing after a few seconds. Now
it sometimes doesn't close by itself. How do I get it to
stop remaining open?
