I have a Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition machine. Fresh Load. I join
it to my domain (Isolated, no internet connectivity, test domain). No
problems. Static IP assignment. As soon as I install SQL Server 2000 SP2,
three Event Log Errors appear. I then upgrade to SQL SP4, as I know SP2 has
issues, but the erros dont go away. I'll post below. I can't figure this
out. Nothing useful on the internet about it.
Source : UserEnv
Type: Error
ID: 1053
Windows cannot dtermine the user or computer name (The specified domain
either does not exist or could not be contacted). Group policy processing
aborted.
System Log:
Source : NetLogon
Type : Error
ID: 5719
This computer was not able to set up a secure session with a domain
controller in domain XXX due to the following: There are currently no logon
servers available to service the logon request.
Source : W32Time
Type : Error
ID : 29
The time provider NtpClient is configured to aquire time from one or more
time sources, however none of the sources are currently available.
Someone Save me. This system has to be error free for a contract we are
working on, and I can't figure anything out.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
