Error while connecting to other machines in LAN.

Hi! i am getting the following error while trying to
connect my pc with Win98 to other PC on my LAN,"no domain
server available to validate your password. You may be
able to gain access to some network resources".

Would highly appreciate if some one could give me solution
for this, as i have tried almost everything but it still
does not work.

In the Network properties, Client for Microsoft Networks, do you have the
"Log on to NT Domain" box checked? If so, un-check it and restart the
system, then try again.
