It has been more than 2 months now since each time I'd
try "net use" command to connect to:

net use com1: \\client\com1

It returns:

Error 67 has occurred

Network name cannot be found.

I searched everywhere I could possibly think of to no
avail.

Any ideas please ?

TIA

System error 67 - The network name cannot be found

Symptom: When using net view \\computer, you may receive above error
message.

Resolution: make sure you type the correct computer name or shared name.

Could you please tell me as to how I can verify the correct shared name and
