I have gotten this error message twice now when I shut
down Windows. I don't hjave a clue as to who to contact.
Would appreciate some help.
Error message reads:
"Contact Network Associates Technical Support"
"Stack exceeded by 256 bytes"

Thanks for any help,
Helen

Sounds like some software that you are running from Network Associates has
encountered a problem and is telling you to tell the mother ship about it.
Perhaps McAfee Virus scan? or something else they peddle.

Look around your machine for programs that are from Network Associates ...
email them at (E-Mail Removed) that should get their attention...

Good luck.

PS: this forum is for Microsoft Network hardware and is not the appropriate
place to look for advice on that problem. You might also put the error
message (in quotes) into Google to see if anyone has any write-up on the
issue...

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't recall who Network
Associates were. I have McAfee so will check that out.
