Hi I have eventually struggled through to getting my Win 98SE laptop to
wirelessly connect with my router for internet sharing (via an XP PC) using
its internal wireless mini LAN card.
I say struggled as I really do not understand this at all.

I still get a message saying it cannot connect with the AP.....but I can
surf the internet. does this message matter?
The card is only a "b" standard not "g" like the router. Would a USB thingy
using more modern technology on the laptop give a better range? I live in a
flat with thick walls and two flights of stairs so it only gets a low signal
in the kitchen.

Thanks
Julie
