Error 59 network error

what is this message I get, and what do I do to solve it.

Hi Joseph

I would like to know more about this error message. Is your computer part
of a domain? If yes , This error message occurs if the client does not
contact the Primary domain controller. When you use the Net Password
command on the computer. The computer tries to resolve the NetBios domain
name rather than the correct Domain name.

There is a work around for this error message :

you have to change the syntax of the Net password command. To do that :

Go to the command prompt and type : netpassword\\servername username
oldpassword newpassword , Here the servername is the name of your PDC.
