Can someone help I am sure with this basic question but I'm not computer
literate so please respond in basic terms?

I can connect wirelessly but connection is interrupted randomly by the error
1001 - your computer was not assigned an address (by the DHCP server) for the
network card with address xxxx... your computer will continue to try and
obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server. It
usually does re-connect itself and I can continue with whatever I was in the
middle of doing. This happens even if my PC is right next to the router???
HELP
