Enlight case, wot no speaker?

Just treated myself to an Enlight microtower EN-2400 which at £ 38.00 wasn't
cheap. I must say everything feels a bit more flimsy than expected, but time
will tell whether I've made the right decision.

One thing that struck me, the case doesn't have a built in PC speaker. I am
only an occasional system builder and I don't know what I'd do without my
beep codes following POST!

Clearly I can just temporarily connect another speaker when I build a new
system, but I am thinking what about the entire life span of the PC,
occasionally components do fail and the beep code can point you in the right
direction.

I noticed that this 'tower' is very low volume, yet rated for seriously hot
processors; it has ventilation holes everywhere and I wonder, could the
omission of a speaker be to do with fairly desparate attempts at meeting
some cooling standard?

Or is this a general trend? I wouldn't mind so long as mobos come with some
onboard tweety things instead, but my new Asus mobo certainly hasn't.
