I had a bt engineer install an ADSL extention in my house a few years
ago(splitter face plate with telephone connection one side and adsl the
other), the wiring for it is looking a little shabby(a thick white cable
looks like cat 5), I was wondering is it just standard cat 5 cable with
only 2 wires connected?, also the plugs they use look smaller than
standard cat 5 what type are they, one more thing grin, is there
anywhere that sells the cable terminated one end and not the other, I
don't really want to buy a crimp tool for one cable run.

Thanks

Eddy

Try this link:

http://www.clarity.it/xcart/product....cat=250&page=1

I think this will take you to what you are looking for, but check the length
required as the BT installed ones could be upto 30 meters.
