I recently put standard encryption on our network. I am
using a mn-500 router. The laptop is working fine it is a
little slower but works perfectly. The problom lies with
the wirlessly connected desktop. It is running Windows 98
SE and has a old 266 pentium 2. When I open IE most of the
time nothing loads but symbols and words. If it does load
after clicking refresh a couple times, but the whole
webpage isnt loaded and pictures are preety messy. Is the
a way to fix this without taking encryption off.

Check that the computers' wifi cards and the router are set
to the same channel. AFAIK the encryption is done in the
cards and doesn't slow down the PC's.

You may be having poor reception. Try with channels 1 and
11 (same on wifi card and router), and try setting the
router vertical and away of walls.
