Enable security?

I live 10 miles from anyone else. Do I still need to enable the security on
my home network?

Why wouldn't you want to? It's easy. If you are out in the middle of
nowhere, I suppose it wouldn't matter but why even take the chance when
enabling security is simple?

It is very easy to find your name, address and phone number just from your
IP address that is visible in the properties of your posts to usenet or
anywhere else.

This service will cost money but that does not mean that it can not be done
free. Security issues are growing by the moment and everyone should be
concerned.
