Enable\Disable ports in Windows 2000 server

howdy all

is there a simple way to to open\close ports in windows 2000 ?
i am coming from linux, and i have a new windows server that i need to add to our domain. i know very little
about windows, and windows networking.

whats the recommanded method to do that ?
