My new job requires me to be online 24/7 "just in case" to monitor a
web site admin screen and check for email periodically. I don't want to
be tied completely to my desk, and want to be able to send/receive
email from my HP Jornada 525 if I'm out and about. I have a wireless
LAN card for it, which is fine around the house, but I'd also like to
get opinions on cellular internet services.

internet-only package from T-Mobile. My understanding is that the cards
are unlocked and will work with any provider, so long as I slip in the
SIM card.
I am assured from reading the docs for the RTM-8000 card that it will
work in my Jornada (cheap, old, but gets the job done). With an adapter
it will a wo
So, if I pick up one of these RTM-8000 cards off eBay, and take it and
my PDA down to my local T-Mobile store and sign up for their internet
service, is this going to do the job? Can anyone share their
experiences with this?
