Any recommendations for a decent email provider?
Probably about 10 mailboxes or so, workable from The Bat and T-Bird.
Virtual names seem good with email and domain for £10 p.a.

Any other suggestions (no G/Hot/Yahoo mail please)

Thank you.

Since you appear to be using UKFSN, what's wrong with their email
offerings?

Found it to be unreliable in the past, also have email with enta, but,
it comes up with "no relay" when I try to use it with my domain for
handling my Yahoo groups mail!

Would be interested to see which you end up using. Also, IP address range
(not bothered about specific machine, just want to check for UK or USA /
Canada / German hosting). Something not mentioned by VN is how big each
individual mail messages can be, and the total mailbox size allocated.

Incidentally I suspect the VN price is just for the mail/redirection and
the domain is extra fee on top. Not massively pricey for UK domains but
I have recently transferred some domains for US $5, and up to $7 or $9
is quite common, so any UK firm charging 9 pounds (+VAT?) seems high to me.

(OK, I expect profit on top, but +100 % compares with pubs and jewellers!)

May only be of interest to some, but Hostway (.com) charges $7.95 for their
US customers, or 5.95 GBP (+VAT) on hostway.co.uk - they still compete with
common 8.99 GBP / etc pricing from UKreg.com and 123-reg.co.uk... I prefer
to pay under 5 pounds whenever I can :-)

bong... bong... bong... and finally... may be worth asking about this in
uk.net.providers and/or alt.internet.providers.uk for a wider readership
as it's not really a broadband query...

As far as I know it is 10 mailboxes plus redirection and domain per
year £10 exl vat. My friend picked them for his company website and
pays £20 with webspace, looks same deal with the webspace, I will check
on any capacity limits on mail!
