elevation help

I would like to link to locations together but I need the elevation between
the them how can I find that.

I need to plot it to see if the dish can see each other.

I use several tools.

Topo! and DeLorme Topo USA mapping software can give you elevation
contour plots. They weren't really designed for propogation studies
(no Fresnel zones) but they do work work:

I use Radio-Mobile (freeware) with the SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography
Mission) maps.

The RMPATH program is a minor part of the package, but it does what
you want. However, learning the package is probably overkill.

Radiomobile is your friend, takes a bit of setting up but its superb for
all these sort of problems, links and coverage at most any usable
frequency and aerial height.
