Ok, if I run these on an existing 2000 DHCP server, what effect does this
have? I want these files to test a migration to a 2003 DHCP server, but in
the interim, I want the 2000 server to continue to operate.

After I run these, I'm assuming there is nothing that will prevent the
server from functioning as a DHCP server. I just want someone to give me a
warm and fuzzy.

If you use it properly, it should have no impact on existing server.

Here's some good info:

Well I plan on following the Q article for migrations. I assume I just
restart the service on that box and move on with my life?

Let me clarify. Run Jetpack and DHCPEXIM, copy the file to my test box
(different domain/network), and for the existing DHCP server, just turn the
service back on and let it do what it's gotta. After I jetpack and EXIM the
sucker, I want to have it continue to do it's DHCP business.

Yes, that's exactly what you have to do: just restart DHCP service and you
should be all set
