Editing newsgroup posts

I run Leafnode, which gives me a chance to edit posts before they go out,
and I am always doing it. I know that I shouldn't, but it is just me.

Afterwards, the line count is sometimes changed. Sometimes I correct the
figure in the headers, sometimes I don't. Is it critical? Does the count
include blank lines, e.g. between paragraphs?

Ever consider submitting a Job Application to The Third Reich? Hitler was a
big fan of censorship too.
