Linux?

You may have to fish for the correct one, but the ralink driver works.
See the reviews on newegg where it was successfully used in Ubuntu.
Link to the ralink drivers if they are not already included in your
distro: http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=2

How can I tell which is "the correct one"? Edimax don't offer a Linux driver
and I don't know which chipset is used.

I was hoping that reviewer would reply.

http://www.wikidevi.com/wiki/Edimax_EW-7722UTn says that the chipset is

Primary chip: Ralink RT3072

Google is your friend.

And how do I find the right driver for that? Presumably one or
more of

2010_0709_RT2870_Linux_STA_v2.4.0.1.tar.bz2
2011_0225_RT5370_RT5372_Linux_STA_V2.5.0.1_DPO.tar .bz2
2011_0407_RT3070_RT3370_RT5370_RT5372_Linux_STA_V2 .5.0.2_DPO.bz2
