Interesting...especially as PusNet have done an LLU deal with Easynet. I
wonder if Murdoch might now look at PusNet for their subscriber base to
add to the package? The pieces would certainly fit together.

A marriage made in hell...

"It is believed that Sky's internet ambitions extend further than the
acquisition of Easynet. Analysts believe Pipex and Home-choice could also be
targets."

Next news will be that customers will have to use a web-tv like sky box to
access the internet. With your Sky++ broadband you can surf the web with
different bundles. Package one you can have email only, package two you get
email and web surfing for 50 hours, package three will be all inclusive
unlimited but you will have an advert interlude every 10 minutes.
Introduce a friend and you get a free M&S voucher.

Have you seen their current Talk21 deal with BT using the Sky box?

Email on the telly at a mere 5p a minute call charge. And as most people
have to use the handset to type in a SMS message fashion it gets
expensive. And no working offline either, has to be connected whilst
composing and reading
