Dynamic IP updating without re-boot or re-login

I am using Red Hat 9 on a DSL service that changes its IP address
every couple of weeks. Assuming that this machine is only re-booted
every few months, what process in linux/RH9 is responsible for
updating the machine's IP address without requiring a re-boot or
re-login?

The DHCP client you are running - maybe dhcpcd, dhclient or pump. IIRC,
redhat uses dhcpcd.

Dhclient did the trick. Thanks for the help.
