Dynamic Disk Part 2

So, I converted a huge drive to Dynamic so I could add a mirrored drive.

However, when I try to copy the files back to the disk, I get the error "
The destination does not support long file names. Please enter a new name for
this file"

Is that right? I can't change all the filenames. I know many are network
files that will have several user shortcuts pointing to them.

Did I miss something?

Forgot to mention this is an enterprise server 2003 dc.

Someone kick me, but I didn't restart to see if that would fix it. (It was
and end of the day Friday project!)

Any confirmations that a restart would likely solve the issue?

Thanks in advance.
