dwl g800ap help

I have a di-624 router with a dwl g800ap repeater. My network is setu
with my repeater. The problem I am having is that because router an
repeater broadcast the same ssid some of my adapters get confused ont
which device to connect to. The wireless adapter will actually bounc
between signals. Does anyone out there know how to fix the problem
