Hey, I've got a 900 AP+ on my network (just connected it). All of the
right lights are showing but I can't get my network to find it. I try
to run the setup for it but it won't find the IP address for it
(192.168.0.50). Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?
Thanks for any help.

It is possible your 900AP+ has been configured to an IP other than default
- is set to obtain an address via DHCP
- is connected to your network with a defective or reversed Ethernet cable
- or ... your local network is not 192.168.0.0 / 255.255.255.0

Try resetting the thing (button in rear etc).

How do I know if the Ethernet cable is reversed? When I use it to
connect hardwired to my laptop, it works fine.

My local network is within the correct range.

I'll try resetting it.

If the cable works fine when you use it for your laptop "and" it causes the
"LAN" light (on the 900AP+) to light up when used for the 900AP+ then it is
fine.

There is alot of equipment (switches, hubs, routers, network
cards) out there now that can autodetect for speed and cable
type... On my Compaq notebook I have to use a crossover cable
when connected to the DWL-900+AP for client mode
operation/configuration...

Like stated though, if you get connection lights on both ends,
its working...

If you are running it off of a router the is using DHCP it will have
reassigned a diff. IP address to the 900 AP+, If this is the case you will
have to access the router first (through a browser window) and find the list
of connected IP address's, Then eliminate which one is the 900 AP+
